This is what we said about the Sussex in our
pubs section.
"Located in Sussex Road, The Heath and The Sussex cater
for the more 'rough and ready' end of the beers ,wines and
spirits market. The Sussex often televises football matches
and sometimes holds discos. In the summer, tables and chairs
are placed outside The Heath to form an impromptu 'beer garden/pavement'

The Sussex could best be described as 'real'. Fights would
often erupt after closing time and the best place to watch
them was from one of the flats just over the road. |
